Moving Time!

Posted by The Writer on December 4, 2011 at 1:00 AM Comments comments (4)

The Theatre page and the Art Gallery have been moved to Story Time Square, on the drop down menu. Because they would be kept in Story Time Square.

I've spent some time thinking about how our little city would look, and I assume we should place a little map of it on the Homepage, anyone want to draw a map of how they see Story Time City? The top pick will be placed on the Homepage! See it as a little contest!

Merry Christamas!

New Zoo Owner Needed

Posted by The Writer on December 3, 2011 at 9:10 PM Comments comments (0)

Our old zoo keeper doesn't get on a lot, so we are going to hire a new one. If you think you'd be a good zoo keeper, who during the busy months on Story Time City (basically the school months, because in Summer the residents vacation) and who is good at writing.  Knowing a lot about animals is key, and being imaginative, for mythical creatures as well to be added to the zoo.

But no selling baby animals, because that's illegal and please make animals think realistically, as in, not exceedingly intelligent, and thinking of realistic animal stuff, like food, shelter, family. We'll hire who can really get into how an animal would think.

New Voting!

Posted by The Writer on December 1, 2011 at 11:40 AM Comments comments (1)

The new vote is on the Laws page like always, and this one is about foreclosed homes in Story Time City! Basically, when a member gets deleted, what to do with their homes that they built and described, some of these homes are very nice. What to do? Go and vote and see the options!

Halloween Costume Ideas

Posted by The Writer on October 7, 2011 at 11:45 AM Comments comments (0)

Halloween is around the bend, so close we can already imagine are candy-ladden bags and if anyone thinks they're too old to trick-or-treat their wrong! This is the perfect holiday to let your creativity shine! So start making a costume that will outshine them all! I have faith in all the residents to be able to do this, and besides, Halloween is fun!

No idea? No fear! Just look through your dresser or closet and find all your clothes that are just a little to outrageous to wear: a ballgown, a tux, something way to sparkly, a mask, etc. and use that as your starting point, then build around! Anyway, everyone on this site is creative so halloween should be a blast for all of you!

Story Time City has a Court

Posted by The Writer on July 3, 2011 at 12:30 AM Comments comments (0)

Story Time City now has a court for writing theft/art theft and other things, but mostly that. The Court Case submission category is in the Police Station. To have a Court case, all the people need to be able to get on at the same time, or if the person who wronged you REFUSES to show up, the Police will deal with it as they see fit, the person might even lose their account in some case, if the CAN'T SHOW UP it will be rescheduled. It may take weeks for someone to finally get their case into the court with everyone there because it needs to be scheduled perfectly so that everyone shows up (Judge, Jury, Witnesses, Lawyers, and both of the people arguing).

Things to do over the Summer

Posted by The Writer on June 26, 2011 at 8:06 PM Comments comments (0)

This bit was added a little late, and please do comment on this entry if you have any ideas for things to do over the summer.

Passion and I found that if you take your own bathtub (air jet tub or normal) and fill it with water and get as many bubbles as you can in it (and optionally turn on the video camera so you can look back on the time), you will probably have a good time swimming in it (with swimsuits on). Big tubs are usually best, and as long as your parents allow you to turn your tub into a mini swimming pool and, of course, wear swimsuits.

And there was a Gay Pride Parade today, which it's a bit sad that I only found out about it today, but I hope everyone celebrates it anyway! Everyone deserves to be respected and treated like a human being!

More water fun in Summer? I usually turn on the hose and get on clothes I don't mind if they get wet and play around in the backyard. If a good amount of people are there then you can make up a spa game (I invented this amazing game when I had very young children over that I had to keep entertained) by pulling out some lawn chairs and spraying the people in the chairs down with a hose or even digging a mud hole, filling it with water, and putting your feet in it, if your not too afraid of bugs.

I also suggest play photo-shoots for a way to keep occupied. Get out the wierdest clothes you have or just put together outfits and find places to take the photos. I found some great places for taking dramatic pictures in my home and around my neighborhood.

Have fun this summer but try to be safe as well!

Two New Categories in the Bookstore!

Posted by The Writer on June 4, 2011 at 11:46 PM Comments comments (0)

Two new categories are now in the bookstore: Romance and Fan Fiction. We might add a How to section later, but the admins are thinking that How to goes under Non-fiction, if anyone has comments on what or what shouldn't be added, please put them here!
